We built Blingl because we got tired of the same experience on repeat — open an app, match with someone, exchange a few messages, get ghosted, repeat.

Most dating apps weren't built with gay and bi men in mind. They were built for scale. Blingl is built for actual connections.

Real profiles only. Every profile needs a real face photo. No exceptions. It's a small thing that makes a big difference to who you actually encounter on the app.

Conversations that go somewhere. We've designed features that push conversations forward rather than letting them die in a list of unread messages. The goal is a date, not a penpal.

Why Manchester first

Blingl is launching city by city on purpose. A dating app with nobody nearby isn't a dating app — it's a waiting room. Starting in Manchester means building a real local community before we expand.
